A brand new & exciting experience to Lincolnshire Wildlife Park and suitable for ages 3+.

Soapy Shells Tortoise Enclosure is open for all shells of all sizes! Come and meet our lovely Sulcata Tortoises and their friends, enter their enclosure to help our keeper weigh them, clean their special enclosure just like a real keeper, health check them and even wash their shells (Summer only). Including some delicious treats to take in with you for our Tortoises, this experience is a wonderful family friendly addition to your day at the park. The keeper will share some amazing interesting facts about them and you can ask as many questions as you like, while you learn their individual personalities!

Please note: We cannot book Tortoise experiences during the winter months, but they are available as gift vouchers, ready to book a date between April and September.

What’s Involved?

  • Entry to Lincolnshire Wildlife Park
  • Experiences are usually at 11:30am daily (subject to availability)
  • around 20 minutes enclosure tour & talk from the keeper, including: zoo keeping activities such as weighing, cleaning, health checking & feeding some treats
  • The opportunity to take lots of photos for that lasting memory
  • An exclusive photo & presentation folder to take home
  • A certificate memory of your close encounter
  • Please ensure that you DO NOT wear orange or red footwear for this experience.

Terms & Conditions:
Suitable for age 3+ and starting at just £75.00, this experience makes a wonderful gift for a loved one. Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a full paying adult over the age of 16 and this experience is suitable for wheelchair access. Tortoise experiences are only available April – September. Refunds will only be given upon receipt of golden tickets by post back to Lincolnshire Wildlife Park.
