About Us:
Join the friendly team here at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, one of the UKs largest animal sanctuaries that provides a loving home to an incredible variety of animals, from vibrant parrots to majestic Bengal tigers We’re passionate about providing the best possible care for our residents, and meticulous record-keeping using the Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS) is vital to our success. We’re excited to grow our data collection efforts and are looking for a dedicated volunteer to join us in this important work.
Role Overview:
Are you detail-oriented and computer savvy? Do you love animals and want to contribute to their well-being? We’re seeking a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer Data Entry Assistant to help us enhance our animal management processes. You’ll receive comprehensive training on ZIMS, and while remote work is possible after you’re comfortable with the system, we’d especially love to welcome a local volunteer who can join us in the office and become a valued part of our brilliant workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn to input and update animal data in our system (full training provided!).
Help us build upon existing records to further enhance our animal care.
Ensure the information we have is accurate and consistent.
Collaborate with our team to understand and meet our data collection needs.
Who We’re Looking For:
Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! No prior ZIMS experience is necessary – we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
Comfort using computers and some experience with data entry.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
A genuine passion for animals and a desire to support a worthwhile cause.
Ability to work independently after training.
Ideally, based locally so you can enjoy working alongside our team in the office.

Commitment:
